Ordering miR-ID® and miR-Direct® assays
miR-ID® assays are designed for miRNA analysis from total RNA samples Please send us your small RNA sequence or miRNA (miRbase) accession number. Pricing depends on complexity of the small RNA. Most commonly used miR-ID® assays cost $170. miR-ID® kit contents are sufficient for 100 RT reactions (20 ul each) and 300 PCR reactions (20 ul each).
miR-Direct® assays are designed for biofluids input and allow miRNA analysis without prior total RNA purification. Please send us your small RNA sequence or miRNA (miRbase) accession number for the miRNA-specific miR-Direct® assays. Exact pricing depends on complexity of the small RNA. Most commonly used miR-Direct® assays cost $85. miRNA-specific miR-Direct® assays are sufficient for 45 RT reactions (70 ul each) and 135 PCR reactions (20 ul each). (Please note that for all miR-Direct® assays, a core kit is required)
